![]() Festive Greeting! We wish you all a wonderful holiday season, and look forward to working with you in the new year! Our office will be closed from December 19th to January 2nd. Intern Chris Selman has been hard at work over the last few months creating new policy templates. The results of his labours are now online. Check out our resource section, particularly under Collections & Access. You'll find highly useful documents like the Collections Management Policy, Catalogue Worksheet, and Volunteer Policy and Application, and many more! We encourage you to adopt these policies in your organization by downloading them, adding your own letterhead and adjusting the information to fit your organization's operating structure. Festive Advocacy Campaign Just a reminder that this festive season ANSM is encouraging museums around the province to send out a personal greeting to their Member of Parliament, Member of the Provincial Legislature and Municipal Councilors. Now is an excellent opportunity to send greetings and say Thank you for support over the preceding year and provide a brief update on activities. Fiscal restraint is foremost in the minds of all elected officials these days. Cuts to heritage funding will have serious implications for all museums in the province. A reminder of the important role the museum fills in a community and how stretched financial and human resources already are can be compelling. Visit our website for information about organizing a Festive Greeting. ANSM 2012 Advisory Service (Passage Project) contracts have been mailed out to participating members. Please note that both the contract and payment are due back by the end of January 2012. We will be opening five places for new/returning "sustaining" members for the Advisory Service, as well as a new level of service available to ANSM members. Stay tuned for details early in the new year. Community Museum Assistance Program Workshops Workshops have been held around the province:
