Below is a letter from Paul Collins, manager of the Community Museum Assistance Program. Please feel free to forward this on.

Hello members of CMAP:

On behalf of the Department of Communities, Culture and Heritage, and working closely with the Association of Nova Scotian Heritage, I'd like to invite you to attend a regional workshop to hear about and provide input into the 'final phases' of the Community Museum Assistance Program review, designed to discuss previously identified issues surrounding the program.

As we move forward, it's important for us to have a conversation with you to hear your views on the future of the program. I'll be joined by Natasha Jackson and/or Mary-Jo MacKay, the department's co-managers of the review. We've planned for a 2-3 hour session.

If you are unavailable to participate, there will also be an opportunity to submit written comments. We'll provide further information on that process by the end of next week. For now, I just wanted to make sure you had these dates for your calendar.

I hope you're able to attend. Should you wish to extend an invitation to members of your board we would welcome their participation as well.
